A HUGE thank you to our entire SYHA community for showing up big at our Annual Skate-a-Thon! Together, we raised a record $27,174.75!!! This helps offset the costs of hockey throughout the entire season for our families and provides valuable funding for coach training, concussion testing, tournament fees, and numerous other expenses. In addition to raising a bunch of dollars, everyone had a blast. Congrats to Harrison Stamper on winning the Chuck-a-Puck contest and some awesome SYHA gear. Also, congrats to all our skills contest winners, and to the lucky raffle winners who got to pie Coach Britt and Coach Berg in the face. A definite highlight of the night! 

Congratulations to our two top fundraising teams (average amount per player) - Mite 2 and PeeWee 1. Henry Hessell from Squirt 2 won the individual competition raising $1005.

Special thanks to all our volunteers who made last night possible! From auction items and a top-notch bake sale to an incredible MC performance by Ted Klopp, it is clear our parent community is among the best. 

Thanks also to the amazing Sarah Miller who has handled all the organizational efforts that go into Skate-a-Thon, from set up to getting auction items and more. She is the driving force that made this year's event so successful!!!
